Amestoys
We had such a blast Saturday night. What a great way to warm up for the big band battle Wednesday at Fishlips. The staff at Amestoys were the best. The Councilmen kicked ass! They rocked it out more than the first time I saw them. They said they we rocked too. I think we will be gigging with them in the near future. We got a lot of great feed back from everyone we talked too. I think I finely have a nick name I don't mind being called. Just call me THUMPER. lol   Richard

Been awhile
As you can see, no one has posted a blog in awhile. Things in the Smogg camp have been keeping busy. We played Taft a few weeks, damn almost a month ago. That show went good and we even played a new song (Sentimental Graveyard) after only coming up with it 2 days prior to the show. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. We have a few shows upcoming and are going to be real busy for the next month or so. We were asked to play Amestoys with The Councilmen yesterday, and with the short notice we agreed to do it. It should give us some extra practice for the upcoming band battle at Fishlips next Wednesday April 2nd. The band battle has 8 of Bakersfield's best bands and should be a great turn out. The winner of it, gets to open the Festival of the Beers on April 26th 2008 in front of 3000 or so people. That would be such a blast to do. We are working on new songs and the band is getting tighter and tighter, we are more like a family than a band. Richard
